To start this project in Chelmsford we removed the garage door and bricked up the space, we then cladded the brickwork using arctic white hardie board. We then installed a UPVC window to provide some additional light into the converted garage room.
We used weather treated timber for the walls and ceiling and the room was fully insulated using rock wool 100mm thick for both the walls and ceiling. Within the flooring we used Celotex for the installation too. The room was then plaster-boarded and our Plasterer then plastered the full room. Our Electrician installed full electrics which included dimmer switches and power sockets.
Our customer wanted a clean look finish so the room was then painted in a white matt finish and to compliment this we installed laminate flooring and skirting board
Our customer have brough some storage cupboards and we installed them giving them a more custom built finish and installed a fridge within one of the units too.
